How should I collect my sample?
Read all of the instructions, including the warnings in your kit box. Collect your sample in the morning and return it on the same day.
Please visit our website and select your test to review the 'When to Test' section for more information on when to collect your sample.
What do I do once the sample is collected?
Once your sample is collected, seal the sample(s) in the biohazard bag provided in your kit. Then place the biohazard bag with the sample(s) back into the LetsGetChecked kit box. If there is a label included on your biohazard bag, make sure you have filled it out completely.
Close the kit box. Your kit will include either a pre-paid return envelope or a return label on the bottom of the box to send your sample back to our laboratories. Send the kit back the same day (check the return label or return shipping card in your kit for your shipping method).
How do I return my sample to the laboratory?
Before collecting your sample, fill out the label on the biohazard bag. After you have collected your sample and have ensured the lid on your sample collection tube is secured for shipping, place your sample(s) into the biohazard bag, and seal the bag shut.
Once the biohazard bag is sealed, place it back into the LetsGetChecked kit box and close it. Your kit will come with either a pre-paid return envelope or a return label on the bottom of the box. Please see the instructions in your kit for more information.
Send the kit back immediately. Check the return label or return shipping card in your kit for your shipping method.
What laboratory does LetsGetChecked use?
Your sample will be sent to our own laboratories for full analysis by the clinical team. Our laboratories are CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited, which are the highest levels of laboratory quality.
When will my results be ready?
We aim to have your results ready in ~2-5 business days, from when the lab receives your sample. When your results are ready, you will receive a letter or an email to let you know your results are available.
Why should I collect and return my sample by the end of the year?
Collecting and returning your sample before the year ends can help you close out the year on a healthy note. Your screening results can provide you with vital health insights that enable you to make informed healthcare decisions and start the new year on the right note.
